Flitterringe

Out of fluvial deposits these little gold flitters are separated just physically. Then I melt the flitters without any other substances or processes. Then I forge the gold to the form of a ring and adjust the size oft the ring. This archaic process is combined with the traditional way of gold extraction.
Gold 900 (goldflitters out of fluvial deposits).

Barren

2 Rings are forged out of a bar.
Palladium or Platin.

Für dich für mich für uns

The rings are formed out of a single piece of precious metal. One ring is sawed from the other. Thus, they are dependent to each other, but formed independently in the further process. By forging, stretching and compressing, the rings are adapted to their sizes. On the outer edges there are traces of the deformation process, so each ring is unique. The sawdust that is produced during the sawing is molten to a nugget and the nugget is delivered as a gift "for us".
The couple gets the rings, the nugget and a documentation together in a box.
Fine gold or fine silver.

Teilen

The process of sharing is the focus of these rings. As a symbolic answer to the question -do you want to share with me?- the couple splits a piece of precious metal. Out of the two resulting cuboid pieces the rings are made by pure craftsmanship.

Zugeneigt

Punching and stretching of a cylinder tilts the basic form. A ring evolves.
Fine gold or fine silver.

Goldstück

In the beginning, there are two pieces of gold, pure and solid. Being hammered and thus expanded, the metal slowly "grows" into rings with neither beginning nor end. Exclusively the result of this forging process, their surface texture will gradually change over time due to regular wear.
Fine gold or fine silver.

Datumsring

In a massive cylinder a date or a message will be engraved. The cylinder is then divided and both parts are stretched into rings. The engraving is deformed by the forging process and gets more and more unreadable. The engraving is finally transformed into a unique pattern. This pattern is only readable on closer examination.
Fine gold or fine silver.

Für gute und für schlechte Zeiten

100 grams of gold are used to form ingots of metal from which two wedding rings are sawed. These are decorated with the beautiful structures made by the saw and are intended for use in good times. For the bad times, the couple receives the rest of the gold in a beautiful package.
Alternative "Für gute Zeiten": The remaining gold is not delivered to the client. Rings for optimists.

Zusammen

Independent forms arise out of two cylinders that are connected in the origin. Through the forging procedure the rings are individualized in size and form. They are finally separated by the couple.
